
In cooperation with Albion Environmental, Inc., we've been conducting excavations at Santa Clara University during Fall 2004 and Spring 2005. Past Forward, Inc. recently nominated the site of the first Japanese American colony in the United States to the National Register of Historic Places. The site was declared a California Historical Landmark (monument pictured to the left) in 1969.
Wilder Ranch State Park, Santa Cruz

In July 2009, Past Forward staff worked with many volunteers to excavate a residential deposit associated with the historic Wilder Ranch State Park. Materials from the excavation are now being used by a graduate student as the subject of a master's thesis.
